Cuban Ambassador to Australia meets with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China.

Canberra, June 21, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in this capital, H.E. Mr. Xiao Qian. The diplomats exchanged on the excellent state of bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the historical ties of friendship between Cuba and China.

The Cuban Ambassador expressed her appreciation for China's firm stance against the economic and financial trade blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for more than six decades.

For his part, the Chinese diplomat welcomed the Cuban Ambassador and reaffirmed his country's commitment to continue strengthening the ties of friendship between the two nations and diplomatic headquarters.
