Ulaanbaatar. August 22, 2017. Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepcion held a meeting today with the three young Mongols selected to continue higher studies on the island as part of the cooperation program that Cuba offers annually to this Asian nation.
The three students accompanied by their families held a meeting at the Cuban diplomatic mission with the Cuban ambassador to finalize details before their trip to Cuba. In the meeting that served as a farewell the young people were able to know the effort that the Caribbean nation is making to welcome thousands of young people from all over the planet in the formation of their human resources free of charge in order to guarantee their own development, as an idea and work of our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
In 58 years of Revolution, more than 140 young people from Mongolia have graduated in different specialties including medicine, stomatology, engineering, bachelor's degree in pharmacy and sports among other specialties. On this occasion two of the three young people will study medicine and one of them will study industrial engineering joining the group of 20 who are currently studying in the island.
