Gaborone - Cuban Ambassador to Botswana, Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre, recently paid a courtesy call on the Angolan Ambassador Sandro de Oliveira.

During the fraternal meeting, the two diplomats exchanged views on the political and socio-economic realities in their respective countries, as well as other important international issues of mutual interest.

Ambassasors Pubillones and de Oliveira congratulated each other on presenting their Credentials to the President of the Republic of Botswana H.E. Mr. Duma Gideon Boko on the same day and expressed best wishes for success in their diplomatic missions.

The meeting underscored the enduring historic bonds of friendship and solidarity between Cuba and Angola.
