Ulaanbaatar. February 7, 2019. In the Government Palace, the President of Mongolia Hon. Mr. Kh. Battulga welcomed the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Ulaanbaatar to congratulate the heads of diplomatic missions on the arrival of the New Lunar Year. In this ceremony the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción, had the opportunity to exchange with President Battulga and convey on behalf of the Cuban government and people warm congratulations and wishes of prosperity for the Mongolian people this new year that begins, according to the lunar calendar.
In his remarks, President Battulga highlighted: “The Mongolian Tsagaan Sar is a festivity to welcome the spring and a sign of pleasant weather. Warmer days approach us. I am confident that our foreign relations will advance with your active efforts. In the upcoming Year of the Pig, I am planning to make official visits to our two neighbors and European countries. The purpose of the visit will be introduction of technology that will be used to process raw materials in mining and agriculture sectors from European countries to Mongolia. I hope to receive your support.”
Following the President’s speech, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador Kalybek Koblandin extended Tsagaan Sar greetings on behalf of the Diplomatic Corps, wishing well-being and prosperity to the people of Mongolia. The Ambassador expressed his confidence that this year, the Government of Mongolia will continue the economic reform and the livelihoods of the Mongolian people will improve. (EmbaCuba Mongolia).
