Nicosia, Cyprus, November 24, 2025.- The Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Ruben Pino Martinez, participated this Sunday, November 23, in the 15th Congress of the Panchipriot Women’s Movement (POGO), an event at which he officially conveyed the greeting message from the Federation of Cuban Women for this important gathering of Cypriot women.
“On behalf of the Federation of Cuban Women and all the women of Cuba, we are pleased to extend our warmest congratulations on the occasion of your 15th Congress,” noted the Cuban diplomat, while also reiterating how much is valued by the organization in Cuba “the commitment and constant work of your Movement in defending women's rights and in promoting their full social participation.”
"We follow this debate space with interest, convinced that it will contribute to strengthening our shared struggles for gender equality and women's empowerment," she stated.
We reaffirm the bonds of friendship and cooperation between our organizations, and we reiterate our willingness to continue strengthening these ties of work and solidarity. By joining forces, we will continue to promote the principles of internationalism, the fight for full equality, development, and peace.
