The Cuban ambassador to Qatar, Alain Pérez Torres, was received by H.E. Sheikha/ Hanouf Abdulrahman N. J. Al-Thani, Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
At the meeting, the Ambassador thanked Qatar for its traditional support for the Cuban Resolution against the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the United States; as well as Qatar's response to the Note of the United Nations Secretary General on the impact of the blockade.
For his part, H.E. Sheikha/ Hanouf Abdulrahman N. J. Al-Thani reiterated that Cuba will be able to continue counting on the support of Qatar and highlighted the positive exchange between both countries on multilateral issues. Likewise, he highlighted and thanked our country's historic support for the cause of the Palestinian people.
