Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Cuban members of the Queensland Ballet

Brisbane, 4 September 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia visited the headquarters of the Queensland Ballet. During the tour, she was able to exchange with the Cubans who work as choreographers and dancers in the prestigious institution.

These young people keep alive the legacy of Cuban dance and the prestige of the Cuban Ballet School, founded by Alicia Alonso and continued by prestigious figures such as Viengsay Valdés, current director of the BNC.

It was an exchange where love for Cuban culture prevailed. The Ambassador was proud to have such talented young Cubans in Australia.

She was also able to exchange with the authorities of the Queensland Ballet about future cooperation projects.
