Nicosia, Cyprus – During the opening ceremony of the Christmas villages on November 22nd in Kalopanayiotis, the Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero had the opportunity to greet and exchange views with the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Kostas Koumis.
Ambassador Suarez Cordero congratulated the Deputy Minister on Cyprus' tourism successes throughout the year. In turn, Deputy Minister Koumis expressed the Cypriot public's satisfaction with Cuba's participation in the upcoming Cyprus Tourism Fair, particularly given the 65th anniversary of bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the event, the Cuban diplomat also greeted Andreas Kakouris, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other local authorities from Kalopanayiotis and neighboring communities (EmaCuba Cyprus).
