The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero held on January 11, 2024. a friendly meeting with Mrs. Theodora Constantinidou, Director of the Unit of the Diplomatic Academy and Trilateral Cooperation, at her office in the Leventis Gallery.
During the meeting they exchanged on the national, regional and international agenda. The Ambassador informed Ms Constantinidou about the negatives impact of the unjust blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba. The diplomat of the Caribbean island gave her a proposal for a Memorandum of Understanding between the Unit of the Diplomatic Academy and the Higher Institute of International Relations "Raúl Roa García" of the Republic of Cuba to be analysed.
In turn, Mrs. Constantinidou exchanged on the functions of her Department and the possibilities of cooperation in the trilateral area and both parties expressed their interest in continuing to strengthen relations (EmbaCuba Cyprus).
