The Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero held a meeting today at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kyriacos Kouros.
During the friendly meeting, both agreed on the positive state of bilateral relations and the prospects for future work for both nations, which share a long history based on affection and solidarity.
In addition, the Ambassador handed over the Report of Cuba on the negative impact of the criminal, unjust and genocidal blockade, which will be presented to the United Nations General Assembly on November 1 and 2.
The Permanent Secretary ratified the friendship of the Cypriot government and people towards Cuba. The Cuban Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the traditional position of Cyprus in favor of lifting the economic, financial and commercial blockade of the United States against his country.
The two diplomats also exchanged on the regional and international agenda (EmbaCuba Chipre).
