Cuban Ambassador inaugurates Brisbane Film Festival

Brisbane, October 16, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia opened today the Latin American Film Festival in Brisbane.
The film that had the honor of opening the event was “Strawberry and Chocolate”, a classic of Cuban cinema, which was appreciated and applauded by the audience.

During the event, the Ambassador made reference to the history of Latin American and Cuban cinema, pointing out the best of its exponents.

Several professors and academics from different universities in Brisbane participated in the inaugural gala.
