Dublin, March 27, 2025. This morning, the Cuban Ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, received Representative Donnchadh O'Laoghaire, Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defense of the Sinn Féin Party, at the diplomatic headquarters.
While thanking Ireland for its solidarity with his country, the diplomat explained to the Irish representative, the serious damage caused to Cuba by the strengthened economic, commercial, and financial blockade maintained by the United States against his country, as well as its unjust inclusion on the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.
The occasion was an opportune moment to exchange on the historical ties between Sinn Féin and Cuba, current international affairs, and the strengthening of relations between the Cuban and Irish parliaments.
The meeting took place in a fraternal atmosphere, in keeping with the historic relations between Sinn Féin and Cuba.
