Cuban Ambassador meets with Ambassador Elizabeth Ward

Canberra, June 13, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador was received at the Australian Foreign Ministry by Elizabeth Ward, Ambassador for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and Latin America. 
(APEC) and Latin America.  

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed the possibilities for the development of relations between the two countries, within the framework of the 35th anniversary of bilateral relations.  

The occasion was propitious to convey to the authorities of the Australian Foreign Ministry, the gratitude for the position against the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
