Cuban Ambassador meets with Australian Member of Parliament Rebekha Sharkie

Canberra, 3 June, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia was received today by Rebekha Sharkie, Member of the Australian Parliament for Mayo, SA. During the friendly meeting, the diplomat thanked for the support to the Motion introduced in the Australian Parliament against the Blockade, as well as discussed matters of common interest in the parliamentary field and bilateral relations between Cuba and Australia. 

The occasion was propitious to convey greetings from the Cuban parliamentary authorities, as well as to talk about the work of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba of which she is a member.
