Basseterre, February 16, 2022- This morning, the Cuban Ambassador David Rivero Pérez received at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission, the new leader of the Saint Kitts and Nevis Labour Party, Dr Terrance Drew, who was accompanied by other leaders of this political organization, Konaris Maynard and the Honorable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, also Member of Parliament for the East of Basseterre.
During the meeting, they exchanged on the positive relations of friendship and collaboration between both countries and the traditional links of exchange between both parties, Labour and Communist, from St Kitts and Nevis and Cuba.
Dr. Terrance Drew, elected last November to lead the Labour Party, graduated in Medicine from Cuban University, as part of the scholarships offered by the Greater of the Antilles to Caribbean youth, through an agreement with CARICOM.
