Canberra, 17 June, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador in Canberra held a meeting with members of the Central Committee of the Australian Communist Party.
At the meeting, the representatives of that organization expressed their unrestricted support to the Cuban people and government and their unequivocal rejection and condemnation of the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the Government of the United States against Cuba.
Several young members of the Communist Party in Australia expressed their interest in getting to know Cuba and exchanging with young Cubans to increase and strengthen ties of solidarity between both peoples.
The occasion was propitious for the diplomat to express, on behalf of the Cuban authorities, the gratitude for the support and solidarity of that organization towards the Cuban people.
