Pretoria, 4 May 2026. — The Cuban Ambassador, Fakri Rodríguez Pinelo, received South Africa’s Deputy Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Sihle Zikalala, at the Embassy in a meeting that highlighted both countries’ commitment to deepening cooperation on infrastructure matters.
During the meeting, the officials reaffirmed both countries’ willingness to strengthen ties of cooperation. The exchange highlighted the potential for technical collaboration in strategic sectors related to the construction and development of public infrastructure.
This meeting forms part of the ongoing dialogue between the governments of Cuba and South Africa to identify new opportunities for cooperation that benefit both nations.
