The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, H.E. Mr. Amartuvshin Gombosuren. The Director of Multilateral Cooperation of the Mongolian Foreign Ministry, Mandkhai Batsuren, was also present.
Both parties exchanged Information as follow up to the successful visit to Cuba of the President of Mongolia to attend the Summit of G77 plus China on science, technology and innovation that took place in September.
They discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including the upcoming events of the Group of 77 plus China and agreed on the important contribution of the President's recent visit to Cuba to the promotion of bilateral relations.
The Ambassador reiterated Cuba's gratitude to Mongolia for its contribution to the success of the G77 Summit in Havana, for their historical position against the US blockade and for the mutual cooperation in international organizations.
The two sides reiterated the common will to continue developing the traditional long-standing relations of friendship and cooperation in various spheres.
