The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia received the new scholarship recipients who will arrive in Havana this weekend for university studies

The Cuban ambassador in Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer,  meet for the second time at the Embassy with the three new Mongolian students and their parents, who will study at Cuban universities in the 2023 academic year.

The Director of School No. 52 José Martí, Mrs. Tserenkhand Lumben, one of whose students will study medicine on the island, was also present.

Two of the young people will study medicine and one economics as part of the Cuban solidarity program of free scholarships for developing countries, which since 1963 has graduated some 140 Mongolian professionals.

The Cuban ambassador updated them on Cuba and the characteristics of its education and health systems. In addition, he congratulated them on obtaining the scholarships for their good academic results; he called them to study and wished them a good trip, success and a pleasant stay in our country.

Likewise, they were given the scholarship assignment tickets and the documentation they require to travel to our country.

The young people and their parents expressed their gratitude to the Cuban Government and people for their generosity and solidarity in sharing what they have and offering them the exceptional opportunity to study in Cuban universities.
