Kingstown, May 14, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, paid a working visit to Bequia, the second most populated and economically important island of this brother country.
The Ambassador was received by the highest authority of the island, Mr. Carlos Williams, deputy director for Grenadine Affairs, with whom he discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation in the fields of sports and electrical engineering.
The Cuban diplomat visited a group of compatriots residents on the island, with whom he exchanged about the current situation in Cuba, the national culture and the importance of representing the homeland with dignity and pride wherever one might be.
The Cuban diplomat's program also included an emotional meeting with Vincentian graduates in Cuba of Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Nursing, who are currently members of the solidarity movement with cuba here in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
