Belize City, April 17, 2024.- With the exhibition of works by talented Belizean artists whose work spans decades, the Museum of Art of Belize (MOBA) was inaugurated as a platform to showcase the art of this sister nation.
This excellent initiative is part of the promotional work of the National Institute of History and Culture of Belize.
The activity was chaired by the Honorable Francis Fonseca, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Education, Culture, Science and Technology, who in his opening speech expressed the importance of this space to promote and disseminate national art and become a beacon for inspiration and cultural transformation.
Present were political and government authorities, the diplomatic corps, artists and people in general, who enjoyed the beautiful and varied exhibition samples, a genuine expression of authentic Belizean art. (EmbacubaBelize)
