Lusaka, October 14, 2025. Cuban Ambassador to Zambia Marileydis Dueñas Morales participated in the launch of the League of African Ambassadors (LAA) in Lusaka, jointly organized by the League's Secretariat, chaired by Ambassador Nwanne Ominyi, and the Government of Zambia, represented by the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Zambia, Mulambo Haimbe, MP.
The League of African Ambassadors is a non-governmental platform, comprised of current and former ambassadors from across the continent. It seeks to foster dialogue and collaboration on issues such as peace and security, trade and investment, climate resilience, and cultural diplomacy to strengthen unity, political innovation, and African solutions to global challenges.
