Cuban ambassador participates in the launch of the Venezuelan film “Alí Primera”

Canberra, 13 August 2025 – The Cuban ambassador to Australia, Tanieris Diéguez La O, participated in the launch of the Venezuelan film Alí Primera, a moving tribute to the iconic Venezuelan singer and composer, held at the Australian National University (ANU).

The event, organized by the Venezuelan Embassy, marked a significant moment of solidarity and cultural cooperation between Latin American nations and Australia.

The screening of Alí Primera brought together members of the diplomatic community, academics, students, and lovers of Latin American cinema.

The Cuban Ambassador reiterated Cuba's commitment to promoting Latin American culture in Australia and thanked the ANU for its support in organizing this event.
