The Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero participated in the RIK State TV programme, Bella Mañana (Omorfi Mera) hosted by journalist Elpida Iacouvou to share details of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra's Benefit Concert for the 30th anniversary of Telethon, with the internationally renowned Cuban pianist Rolando Luna as special guest.
During the programme, the Cuban diplomat thanked all the friends and institutions that made it possible to bring Rolando Luna to Cyprus to share the music, the joy of Cuba in a wonderful event full of solidarity and humanity.
Antigoni Antoniou, representative of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra explained the repertoire that will be performed during the concert, pointing out that it is a journey through the musical history of Cuba. He highlighted the tradition of Cuban boleros and their impact on the life of Santiago de Cuba.
Marjorie Montero, Cuban singer resident in Cyprus and who will be part of the presentation of the concert "A Night in Havana-Jazz Fusion", delighted the audience with Cuban songs that will be enjoyed by all those attending the event that will take place on Thursday 13 June at the Skali Theatre in Aglantzia.
