Tehran, June 6, 2026. The Cuban Ambassador to Iran, Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, at the invitation of Mr. Abdolhamid Shahrabi, Director of the House of Latin America in Iran (HOLA), participated in a webinar that addressed issues related to the war between the United States and Israel against Iran and its implications.
The online seminar also addressed the Trump administration's threats against Cuba and expressed solidarity with the island, calling on leftist forces worldwide to take to the streets to demonstrate their support and condemn the U.S. threats against Cuba. Ten speakers participated in the event, including the Cuban ambassador, along with 55 participants from a dozen countries. The seminar was organized by the U.S.-based Resist U.S.-Led War Movement.
