Kingstown, January 6, 2026.– The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, paid a courtesy call to the Prime Minister, The Honorable Dr. Godwin Friday, in a meeting held in a cordial atmosphere marked by mutual respect.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on the positive state of bilateral relations between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as on the shared willingness to continue strengthening the historic ties of brotherhood that unite both countries.
The Cuban diplomat reiterated his country’s readiness to further deepen cooperation in areas of common interest, while the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of maintaining constructive and fluid dialogue between the two nations, as well as his desire to narrowing bonds.
The visit reaffirmed the mutual commitment to promoting understanding, solidarity, and cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Embassy of Cuba to St. Vincent and the Grenadines/Cubaminrex).
