The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, H. E. Rumen Radev received today, in a solemn audience, the new Ambassador of Cuba in Bulgaria, Caridad Yamira Cueto Milián, on the occasion of the presentation of the Letters of Credence.
In the framework of the solemn and cordial ceremony, which took place at the seat of the Bulgarian presidency, the Cuban diplomat and the Bulgarian president held a private audience during which they exchanged on topics of bilateral interest and international relevance. Also participating in the talks were the Head of the Office of the Presidency, the Foreign Policy Secretary of the Presidency, and a Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Cuban Ambassador was accompanied by Disnael Martínez Rivera, Counselor of the Embassy.
At the end of the official ceremony, the Ambassador of Cuba laid a wreath before the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, in the center of Sofia.
