Pretoria, October 7, 2024 - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of South Africa, Enrique Orta González, was received at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) by Deputy Minister Alvin Botes on the occasion of the Cuban diplomat's departure from the African country.
During the meeting, the main issues of bilateral relations were reviewed and the Ambassador's efforts and commitment for the improvement of the relations between our governments and peoples were acknowledged.
The Ambassadors of Russia, Turkiye and Venezuela accredited to South Africa and representatives from the Department's Directorate for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean also attended the farewell.
