Tehran, March 29, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre Nicolás was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the Institute of International Political Studies (IPIS), H.E. Mr. Saeid Khatibzadeh, at the headquarters of that organization.
The head of the Cuban diplomatic mission conveyed a message of gratitude for the historic position of the Iranian Foreign Ministry against the U.S. blockade and the denunciation of other hostile actions against Cuba by the U.S. administration, attending to the key role of IPIS in the formulation of foreign policy strategies of this country.
For his part, the Iranian deputy foreign minister recognized Cuban diplomacy for supporting Iran in multilateral issues and in the search for a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. As part of the exchange, both parties addressed issues of mutual interest of current regional and international affairs.
