Cuba's Ambassador was received by Mr. Maxwell Charles, new Director of Regional integration of the Ministry of Foreign affairs, Trade and Regional Integration of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
During the fraternal meeting, the parties addressed themes, linked to the cooperation of the two countries in the frame of them international and regional organizations, both in the flat political as economic.
Mr. Maxwell saluted the current Cuban presidency of the ACS and the initiatives developed by the greater of the Antilles in this context. He also referred to the recent victory of the Cuban Resolution against the blockade, at United Nations.
The official praised the existing spiritual and economic complementarity between our countries and peoples, he also endorsed the CARICOM and OECS interest in closer links with Cuba and expressed satisfaction with the Vincentian companies presence on the 34 FIHAV.
