Cuban Ambassador is received by Senator Simon Birmingham

Canberra, May 1, 2024. The Cuban Embassy in the southern country was received by Senator Simon Birmingham this morning at the Australian Parliament.

The diplomat thanked him for his position against the blockade, as well as for his participation in the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba. Among other issues, the two discussed the potential for the development of bilateral relations in the framework of the 35th anniversary to be commemorated this year.
