Cuban Ambassador receives the President of the Cyprus Peace Council

The Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero received today at the headquarters of the Embassy, the President of the Cyprus Peace Council, Mr. Tasos Costeas.

In the friendly meeting, among the topics discussed were the serious consequences of the unjust embargo imposed by the United States on Cuba to which Mr. Costeas reiterated Cyprus support. Furthermore, the Ambassador handed a call to participate in the XVII 1st of May international brigade of voluntary work and solidarity with Cuba, on the occasion of International Workers' Day, to be held between April 22 and May 4, 2024. Present in the meeting was also Mr. Charis Pashias, General Secretary of the Cyprus Peace Council (EmbaCuba Cyprus).
