Cuban Ambassador receives WHO Permanent Representative in Seychelles

Victoria, 21 July._ Ambassador Martha Hernández Caneiro received on Thursday the Permanent Representative of the WHO in Seychelles, Dr. Rex Gadama Mpazanje, who was recently accredited in Victoria.

During the cordial meeting, both diplomats exchanged on various topics of interest such as vaccination strategies and programs implemented in Cuba and Seychelles to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, the cooperation programs that Cuba and WHO are developing in the Islands and the potential for expanding cooperation in other areas such as biotechnology, training of human resources in medical specialties, agriculture, environment and sports.
