Pretoria, February 11, 2024 - The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, visited Cape Town in the framework of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) activities. During several days, he participated in meetings with important political figures and exchanges with the diplomatic corps accredited in Pretoria.
Together with the rest of the GRULAC ambassadors, the Cuban Ambassador was present at the meeting held with the Deputy Foreign Minister, Alvin Botes, which was described as fruitful and positive. At the same time, he participated in the UBUNTU Awards, where he exchanged with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Naledi Pandor.
During his stay in the city, the Ambassador held a meeting with the Cuba solidarity movement, which reaffirmed its firm support to the Cuban people.
