Cuban Ambassador talks about the National Rebellion Day on a television program
Basseterre, July 26, 2022: This morning, the Ambassador of Cuba to Saint Kitts and Nevis, David Rivero Pérez, gave a live interview to the television program Good Morning SKN, about the feat and significance of July 26, 1953.
Today's morning space was dedicated to relevant events in world history that occurred on July 26. For two hours, different topics were addressed.
In the segment on Cuba, the diplomat of the island spoke of history, courage, patriotism and above all the commitment of the current generations, with the one that did so much for our country.
Likewise, the existing relations between Cuba and Saint Kitts and Nevis were discussed, highlighting the good state of bilateral ties largely protected by a tradition of cooperation in health and education, which has already reached more than two decades.
Accompanying the Ambassador was the president of the St. Kitts and Nevis-Cuba Friendship Association, Telca Wallace, who not only referred to the actions of that group throughout this stage of relations, but also spoke of Cuba as an example to follow for those countries that have not managed to achieve their total and real sovereignty.
