Ulaanbaatar, September 26, 2019. Invited by the Faculty of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia, the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción offered a conference as part of the Program of Conferences of Distinguished Personalities in Mongolia for students of Senior year. The conference entitled “Priorities and Main Results of the Cuban Foreign Policy”, explained in detail to the students of international relations the economic and hardships caused by the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America on Cuba for 6 decades
On this issue, the Ambassador stressed the majority support of the countries that make up the United Nations, which in twenty-seven consecutive times have approved the Cuban Resolution that calls for an end to this policy against our people. He also pointed out that on November 6 and 7 we will once again witness the will and desire of the international community to stop this genocidal policy against Cubans and Cubans who have sovereignly chosen their path to social development.
Young students also had access to the main results and priorities of Cuban foreign policy on 2018, as well as the details of Cuba's work in international solidarity, especially our medical cooperation. Diplomatic relations between Cuba and Mongolia and the celebration of their 60th anniversary next year were part of the Cuban Ambassador's conference.
The young Mongolian International Relations students shared with the Ambassador their questions and concerns about dissimilar foreign policy issues, particularly their interest in learning about Cuban diplomacy and its international projection. (EmbaCuba Mongolia)
