Cuban Ambassador to Zambia Participates in the Opening Ceremony of the Chinese Spring Festival.
Lusaka, February 8, 2026 – The Ambassador of Cuba to Zambia, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, attended the opening of the Chinese Spring Festival (Chinese New Year), presided over by the Vice President of Zambia, Her Excellency Mrs. W.K. Mutale Nalumango, at the Levy Mall in Lusaka. Also in attendance were the Ministers of Tourism, Hon. Mr. Rodney Sikumba; Labor and Social Security, Hon. Ms. Brenda Tambatamba; Green Economy and Environment, Hon. Mr. Mike Mposha; and Community Development and Social Services, Hon. Ms. Doreen Mwamba, among other Zambian government officials.
