Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. November 19, 2018. Invited by the Institute for Strategic Studies of the National Security Council of Mongolia, the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, gave a lecture on Cuba and the development of relations between Mongolia and the Antillean nation. Invited by its Deputy Director Mr. Dorjraa Munkhtur, the Cuban Ambassador participated in a work program of the Institute entitled "Talking with the Ambassadors", where researchers and professors have the opportunity to exchange on the politics, economy and society of the invited country to this meeting, as well as the actuality and possibilities of development of the relations between both countries.
As part of the National Security Council of Mongolia, the Institute has as priorities the study of the problems of the Asian region and internationally in matters of security, politics, food, health and environment and as result of these research works to make recommendations to the Council . With approximately 30 researchers, the Institute develops four fundamental lines of work, international and regional affairs, internal affairs and governance, economics and the environment.
The Institute is responsible every year for organizing and directing the important "Ulaanbaatar Security Dialogue for Northeast Asia" which has directed its efforts since its inception, to the analysis of stability and security in the region from the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. In this important event, the main actors involved in this issue participate each year and other researchers and professors from other centers of studies and similar institutes of the world are invited.
Ambassador Raúl Delgado had the opportunity to update and converse with the professors on current economic and political issues in Cuba, as well as on the possibilities of developing economic and commercial relations between both countries. (EmbaCuba Mongolia).
