UNITED KINGDOM, 12 July 2016.- Len McCluskey, leader of the British union Unite, welcomed Cuban heroes, Gerardo and Rene, to the union conference in Brighton, devoting a space to their relatives.
Meanwhile, both Cuban antiterrorists thanked this British union for their commitment in support of the struggle of the labour movement in Britain for the liberation of the Cuban Five; They highlighted the gestures received from their former leader, Tony Woodley, who repeatedly visited Gerardo in prison, being the last person to see him there before his release.
The timing was propitious for representatives of the Cuban Five to demand the need to continue fighting for the lifting of the US blockade against Cuba and the return of the territory occupied by the US military base in Guantanamo. (Embacuba UK)
