Pretoria, October 02, 2023.- The business mission in South Africa organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba and headed by the director of Africa at MINCEX, Sergio Espinosa, completed an extensive program of activities during their stay in the country.
Besides holding meetings with the different departments with which there is currently bilateral collaboration, the Cuban businessmen had the opportunity to attend a meeting with the President of the Wesvaal Business Chamber, Kgotso Mmadi, who was accompanied by businessmen members of the Chamber. During the meeting, they exchanged possibilities for trade and alliances in the water, education, technology, culture and mining sectors.
They also met with the President of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Connie Mashaba, with the producer and director of the WOMAD Festival, Dan Chiorboli, and with the founders and sponsors of the NAPA project (National Academy of Performing Arts) .
They also held a meeting with the Tshwane Economic Development Agency, during which they had the opportunity to visit the special development zone.
