CUBAN BUSINESS MISSION BEGINS PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES IN SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

A Cuban business delegation, headed by Jesus Gonzalez Perez, Coordinator for the Caribbean in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX), and composed of Loretta Blanco Martin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Trade Business Group (GECOMEX) and Maria Elena Velez Gonzalez, Deputy Director of ALIMPORT, is in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in a mission commercial exchange and business exploration.

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Commerce of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a press conference was held, led by the Honorable Saboto Caesar, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labor, and Ms. Sandy Peters-Philips, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Commerce.

The Ambassador of  Cuba in SVG, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, the Ambassador of SVG in Cuba, Ellsworth John and the Head of the Cuban business delegation, Jesús González Pérez, offered statements to the media in the framework of the press conference.

During his stay in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Cuban delegation will hold meetings at the Ministry of Agriculture, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the investment agency Invest SVG.

Cuban officials will also meet with the directors of East Caribbean Group of companies, East Caribbean Metals Industries LTD and Kendras's Aluminium.
