Cuban citizenship granted to minor born in Finland

Helsinki, November 9, 2022.- For the Cuban Embassy in Finland this is a very special day because Cuban citizenship was granted to the baby Nieve Aitana Feria Galindez.

After a process that involved negotiations in Cuba, this beautiful little girl of Cuban parents, born in Finland, recognized herself as Cuban. This procedure responds to the new policies established to promote the rapprochement of the Cuban Nation with its Emigration.

For the Cuban Consulate in Finland, it is an honor and a duty to work to bring our Homeland closer to the children of its residents in Finland and the Baltic countries under its care, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
