Roseau, Dominica, November 25, 2019. A simple but emotional tribute was held on the afternoon of today, November 25, 2019, at the headquarters of the Cuban health brigade in Dominica, to remember Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, in the third anniversary of his physical disappearance. The event was attended by a broad representation of the collaborators and was attended by the Ambassador of Cuba in this country, Ulises Arranz Fernandez and the Consul Miriam Martín Posada.
Accompanied by images projected on a screen, which reflect Fidel's participation in transcendental moments of the Cuban Revolution, several collaborators read passages of his life in a tight biographical synthesis. The songs of Cuban artists and composers dedicated to Fidel completed the tribute atmosphere.
When the Ambassador spoke, after referring to the meaning of Fidel for all Cubans and for the world, he highlighted the extraordinary humanist spirit of the historical leader of the Revolution, who turned the health care of the people of Cuba into a world reference, that was extended to dozens of countries in the world through the collaboration carried out by professionals such as those that make up the Cuban brigade in Dominica, where in each one there is a Fidel.
