Cuban collaborators in St. Vincent and the Grenadines celebrate International Women's Day.

Kingstown, March 8. In a festive atmosphere, Cuban collaborators based in St. Vincent and the Grenadines celebrated International Women's Day. The event was a good opportunity to recognize the work of all the female colleagues who, from their jobs, raise the name of Cuban women.

In his words, the Cuban Ambassador to this island, José M. Leyva Ventura, highlighted the role played in our history by great heroines such as Mariana Grajales, Lucia Iñiguez, Celia, Haydee, Melba and Vilma, among millions of Cuban women, and especially highlighted the dignifying work that these 61 years of the Revolution have meant for women.
