Cuban delegation fulfills intense work agenda during IRAN-EXPO 2025

Tehran, May 05, 2025. A Cuban business delegation, led by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, Antonio Luis Carricarte Corona, carried out an intense work agenda in the Persian capital from April 26 to May 3, within the framework of the IRAN-EXPO 2025 event.

The president of the island's Chamber of Commerce held a program of meetings with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Cooperatives of Iran (ICC), and senior officials of the Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare and Cooperatives, and the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, as well as with the presidency of the Trade Promotion Organization of this country, organizer of the trade fair event.   

As part of the business activities that accompany this important fair, officials and representatives of the Cuban companies Cacsa, Azcuba and Aviaimport, who accompanied Carricarte, held numerous working contacts with Iranian entities and companies present at the international fairgrounds, located in a central area of Tehran.

At the conclusion of the program's activities, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ICC and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce to promote the exchange of knowledge and promote rapprochement between companies from both countries.
