The Cuban Deputy Foreing Minister visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commonwealth of Nations

As part of the activities of his bilateral visit, the Cuban Deputy Foreing Minister Ana Teresita González Fraga was received today in London at the headquarters of the ministry of foreign affairs and the commonwealth of nations by the permanent undersecretary of the office of foreign affairs and from The Commonwealth and head of Diplomatic Service el autorities. Sir. Simon Gerald Mcdonald, during the official talks the Cuban side appreciated the support of the government of the United Kingdom of great Britain and northern Ireland the permanent support to #Cuba in its fight against the blockade imposed by #USA for more than half a century, He reiterated the interest of Cuba to strengthen and diversify economic-trade and cooperation relations with #unitedkingdom and highlighted the contribution of this in favour of the normalization of the links #Cuba_EU.

The British undersecretary for his part highlighted the good time of bilateral relations and expressed the will of his government to continue developing them.
As part of this meeting the Cuban Vice-Minister conducted a guided tour inside the palace of Westminster headquarters of the british parliament accompanied by Lord David Triesman Labour member of the House of Lords. Sr Triesman is a British politician, Merchant Banker and former trade union leader. Triesman is a Labour member of the House of Lords, having previously been a minister in the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills and Foreign and Commonwealth Office..
