Victoria, January 31st, 2025. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Lizette Martínez Luzardo, arrived this morning in Victoria, Republic of Seychelles, to begin an official working visit at the invitation of the National Institute of Culture, Heritage and the Arts of the Republic of Seychelles. The Deputy Minister is accompanied by Mrs. Dinorah Aimee Prieto Hechavarria, professor of arts education.
Upon her arrival at Victoria International Airport, she was received by the Secretary General of the Institute, Mr. David André and by the Permanent Secretary, Cecile Kalebi. On the Cuban side were present the Cuban Ambassador, Mrs. Martha Henández Caneiro and the Minister Counselor, Tomás Méndez.
The Cuban Deputy Minister will carry out an extensive program of work and exchanges with authorities of the Government, the Parliament, Seychellois artists and work sessions with cultural and artistic education centers in the country. She will also visit places of cultural, patrimonial and historical value of the nation.
