Nicosia, January 9, 2022. Last Saturday, January 7, the Cuban Embassy in Cyprus participated in the Christmas Festival in the city of Derynia, as a special guest of the local authorities.
The Christmas Festival, which was held this year in more than 14 cities of Cyprus, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism of the country, hosted in Derynia a special night dedicated to Cuba.
The musical group "Sabor Cubano", integrated by the Cuban Yenisleydis Guevara and Sheila Sanz enlivened the Christmas night, performing their repertoire of music from the Caribbean and Latin American island, such as boleros, sones, bachatas, merengues, etc.
The Embassy's stand showcased the richness of the food and cocktails of the Antillean country, while promoting Cuba as a tourist destination for the year 2023 (EmbaCuba Cyprus).
