In a cordial meeting to get closer to Cuban culture, the Embassy in this Arab country welcomed the renowned artist Michel Mirabal, who is currently visiting Doha.
In the presence of representatives of medical cooperation, Cubans residing in the country, members of the diplomatic corps and Qatari friends, an activity was held where Ambassador Enrique Enríquez highlighted the privilege of receiving the prestigious Cuban artist, who has become an indisputable representative of Cuban contemporary art within the sector of visual creations.
Michel Mirabal has had the opportunity to hold more than 50 personal exhibitions and participate in more than 70 collective exhibitions in renowned galleries and museums in Cuba as well as in various countries in North America, Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe, and in the near future in countries of the Arab World.
The occasion was propitious for the unveiling of a work from the Banderas series, so from today the Cuban Embassy in Qatar will always have the privilege of telling and showing the work of this Cuban artist.
