Pretoria, October 20, 2023.- The Embassy of Cuba in South Africa celebrated this Friday the National Culture Day, through tenths, dances and a quizz on Cuban culture, with the participation of the diplomatic mission staff and Cuban collaborators working in the country.
The activity started with the singing of the National Anthem, in commemoration of the 155th anniversary of the first time its notes were sung.
The quizz covered the fields of literature, painting, cinema and music, in a perfect combination of the best exponents of our national culture. There was also no shortage of popular sayings, which complemented the evening.
To the beat of the Van Van's buey cansao and with fragments of Fresa y chocolate, the Cuban state mission in South Africa celebrated this important day.
